SIU SOE Undergraduate Emergency Fund
The SIU School of Education Undergraduate Emergency Fund is a one-time award for SOE students who experience unexpected financial hardship or emergency. If you are NOT a School of Education student, you may apply for funding at: Higher Education Resources and Opportunities for Salukis in Need (HEROES)
There is no application deadline. Scholarships are issued as funds are available and awarded in amounts up to $500. Awards will be determined the the SOE Dean's Cabinet and should be made within two weeks of applying for assistance.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must state their emergency and why they are in need of assistance from the SOE Undergraduate Emergency Fund.
- Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate degree through the SOE.
- Applicants must be in good academic standing with the University at the time of application and time of award.
- Applicants have not been previously received funding from the SIU School of Education Undergraduate Emergency Fund.
